Weekly DQ: #11

This week's Dollieh Question from our list. (viewtopic.php?f=41&t=6677)

11. If you had to pick one scale what would it be?

1/6, Yo-SD, 10 to 12 inches.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

This is a really tough question. I love both my 1/6 and 1/4 scale dolls for different reasons. If I had to choose only one size/scale though, I would choose 1/4, 40-48cm. Minis are large enough that I can make clothes for them, so far I find them easier to give faceups to plus I find them easier to photograph. They're still easy enough to transport, pose and play with.

As much as I love my Barbies, my 16-20" gang would be it. I can sew for them much more easily than my 12" crew. But that being said I'd never give up any of my dolls. Isn't going to happen!!!!

If I had to chose, I would probably say 1/4 scale. I find them to be the perfect size to sew for and travel with.

1/6, compact and highly portable. Its easier to find stuff for them. On the bjd side there are anthros of the scale and fairies so its not just all young kids.
