On Denver doll I found this tip on their BJD tips section. It says to use white gloves when handling your doll to keep it clean. !!! Holy clean cat whiskers Batman! I never use gloves when I handle my dolliehs! To me it kind of defeats the purpose of having one. How many of you here wear gloves when you play with your dolliehs?

I don't use gloves at all either. What I would suggest instead of gloves, which I feel limits how you enjoy your dolls, is that you clean your dolls with a Magic Eraser once every few weeks (or more often if you play with them a lot). This way you keep your dolls clean and can still enjoy them without feeling like you're handling a fragile antique.

Well, there are some dolls I would consider this for, but me? NOPE!! Hazel wears her stains with pride - she's a much loved doll and likes being grubby. I recommend mild soap and water before magic eraser for regular cleaning, save the magic eraser for stubborn stains, it does actually micro-abrade the surface.

LMAO, not only do I not wear gloves when playing with my dolls, I also only spot-seal their faceups with a brush-on sealer so I don't have to worry about MSC peeling off from being touched

Too late.
Ended up ruining my Freya's faceup when I grab the aide of her head. My Obi50 is waiting for an appointment with the magic eraser even though she wears a semi bodysuit.
My one resin somehow manged to lose a tiny portion of his eyebrow and has been waiting for a free warm weather day so that i can fix that.

I honestly thought this was a "my dolls hurt me when I handle them" topic hence the gloves XD
No I do not wear gloves. I clean my resin dollies every ones in a while (mostly before a trip) and thats it!

If you buy dolls as collector's keepsakes or museum pieces, white cotton gloves are a must when you remove them from their nitrogen filled, light proof vessels. But if you're going to perhaps...play with them, then maybe just wash your hands first.
