Mirodoll???

So umm...Mirodoll is having a killer sale. I know a couple of our member just got an order from them. I am going to comb through the threads but I thought I would post a general one here too.

As you may know I am thinking about getting a resin doll and I really like RS An and Wu but the character isn't quite as slender as the RS bodies. I saw a pic that looked like Mirodoll and RS tan resin match wonderfully, so I am thinking about a Mirodoll body for my boy..

For those who have one, what do you think?? For $55ish I might just take the risk anyways LOL

I've got a Mirodoll Thunder waiting to be opened back home once I'm done with school and such, which really doesn't help to answer your question. But I was playing around with hybridizing a Wu head on the Mirodoll msd body in Photoshop earlier, if that's helpful at all:



Not 100% sure I've got the head the right size, but I think it's definitely a combination I want to get at some point! (In dark chocolate. )

Yes, I would say 'Go for it!' the Mirodoll bodies are wonderfully awesome and muscular. I like slender, thin because most of our dolls are anime characters, but we do have a couple who need to be beefier, and the Miros are perfect! Color matches are spot on and they fit a wide variety of heads.

Also, if you're looking in the MSD realm, you won't find many 'mature' boys out there other than the Mirodolls. (And especially none at the unbelievable pricing that Miro has now!)

Yeah, I thought it was pretty ironic we'd hit on the same hybrid combo at about the same time, so I had to share.
Wu is a fantastic head sculpt! I've already got a light tan Wu at home and he's gorgeous and so full of character. (Lol, I like the sculpt so much I want another one! )

I want him in tan top though he would be soooo very handsome in the dark chocolate...

Yikes one problem...he will be short. Shorter than an average MSD girl...

I'm thinking the head will probably be a tad larger in proportion exactly because the miro msds are so short. I don't really know though.

It's close enough to the hybrids I've seen, but they are short Wu will lose a a good 4 cms at least...I would like to say I am more liberated than to want my boy to be taller than my girl BUUTT...I know in my heart it would bother me

EDIT: I thought about it all morning. I'm working it into the character. For one, I want that body more than I want him to be taller than my female character and two f!k% gender roles. There is nothing immasculine about being shorter than the character who you are madly in love with, would die to protect, who doesn't feel the same way... yet
