beginning don to like Leeke world

Postby miss_maishka » Mon Jun 17, 2013 12:17 pm

OK so I finally decide to treat myself to a leeke wig LR-117_M[PeachPink]. It got here at last- kind of.
They put the wrong house number on the box so I had to go door to door trying to find out where it had gone - not happy, for a first time order I don't think this gives a good impression. Even worse I open the box to find a very sloppy looking wig, the hair might be nice quality but the plaits are a complete mess and very uneven- they are fixed in place so its not something that I can put right. Over all very unhappy with leeke world so far- its upsetting cos I had really high hopes, everyone seems to think they are great.

Have you contacted Leekeworld about it? Perhaps they'll be willing to replace the wig with one of better quality if you send them a pic of the damaged one. I've never ordered from them, but most companies I've dealt with have pretty good customer service and are willing to negotiate with dissatisfied customers.

I've easily ordered more than half a dozen wigs from Leekeworld, through DDE and through GOs and I've never had an issue with them. Granted, I haven't ordered directly from them myself, but I've always been pleased with the wigs.

I would also suggest contacting them stating the issues from wrong house number (you shouldn't have had to go searching for it) to messy wig.

ok here is an update. - I emailed them about it all and to be honest the reply I got seemed a little rude. Firstly they didn't even talk about the faults I found with the wig and second of all they sent me a picture of my parcel with it label to prove that the put the address they put was correct. The picture of the label does match the one I got,but they fail to see that to the rest of the world that their 15 would be read as 19. I have never had this problem with any other company, bad hand writing on an address is just not acceptable, they are a well respected company surely they should know better. I think they should be printing their labels if they have so much trouble writing numbers clearly. The worse part is that I didn't even get any form of apology from them- I just got told I was wrong! see for yourself - I think most people would see that as a 9

It's supposed to be a 5? I wouldn't have even thought to question that being a 9. O.o;

I'm also glad I looked over the image before reading your notes. With your notes I can see it as a 5 as well, but on my first look at the label I read a 9 without even thinking I might be misreading it.

The one at the bottom of the image I read as a 5 though. I'm guessing it's because the line on the form created the final bottom swoop of the 5 and I assumed it just faded in.

Good i'm glad some else agrees it looks wrong :lol: I emailed them back and told them my thoughts and that I was still very unhappy- waiting to see what they say back. Its a kick in teeth cos there are other wigs I want from them but I cant if they cant write my address. All I can think is to sent it all to house number 11, they shouldn't get that wrong and I don't think the owner would mind - but I shouldn't have to do that- Plus Leeke world's attitude so far stinks so I don't know if I want to give them my money.

Given it's lacking the bottom line there's no way most people would read that as a 5, unless they already knew! Especially given it looks enough different from the 5 in the postcode to be a different character.

I rarely send packages (difficult to get to the post office without a car), and I have absolutely horrible handwriting (lack of practice due to typing more that writing, and lately made worse by arthritis in my thumb)... but I'm always careful and print as neatly as I can when doing address labels. I can't understand why a business wouldn't take the same care - or use a printer if they can't. Unlike me, I'm pretty sure a business could afford a good printer and the ink for it. :roll:

I have ordered from Leeke World before, I got one of their limiteds, the Fox Warrior. The shipping slash making was quick, and everything came fine, except she cannot stand. At all. Her ankles can't hold any weight. Even sueding doesn't help. Her body, resin thickness makes me think wire might damage her.

I had gotten her as my first resin, after having a Hujoo, and the resin was such, I didn't find why is was so "amazing" and I was kinda turned off from it, as it was very plastic-y feeling, expecially compaired to Hujoos, which people are like "It is PLASTIC". I still prefer ABS to resin because of that.

I just figured I'd comment on their dolls, as everyone else seems to have bought wigs.

Though I will say that since my Kitiko is finished, she is a beautiful doll.
