Mistaken Identity

Postby WhiteDove01s » Sat Aug 24, 2013 3:58 am

Ever get a doll, been pretty sure which chara it would be, have it waiting to be OOAKed, and then, just before starting, realize you were wrong and it's someone else entirely?

I thought the tan volks I have would be Digit, but... Recently I did more on Alya's faceup and noticed that when placed next to a fleshtone Obitsu, a Fashonista Barbie is dark enough to look Hispanic. Digit is not Hispanic. Hana is, but I hadn't even realized how much she and Digit look alike in other ways until then. Same eye and hair color, same height, etc.

So now I have to change my sig again. and somehow make articulated vines to attach to the back of the Volks body. After the Sewing Marathon, that is (taking food break).
Playscale-Obsessed Mad Scientist with more cheap vinyl dolls than I'm willing to count.

Obitsu W02 for a blue eyed, silver hair warrior lady named Zannah. I rooted her hair and faceup her, but she's not Zannah because she's too skinny until she took an M02 male head and moved over to a BBI cygirl Amazon body. She spends most of her time sitting around doing pretty much nothing except occasionally demands tea ..(she's not even as bitchy as her canon character and considers herself the big sister to my adult men... )

As for the W02 head, it got rerooted into my OC pink hair Battlemage

It has happened to me, many times. This is how Clover was born.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I did that with the Granado I bought a while back. It was a while before I settled on Gabe.

Well, I bought Sam to be Michael. Hid was the sculpt of choice for Michael's character design predecessor. I open him up and it's obvious he isn't Michael and never will be. Good thing he created a character near-instantly. :P
