As I wanna hear everybody's story, I will share two of mine!

My Super Dollfie Grafitti boy Charles fell off the bed TWICE. Fortunately, since it was at my house in Japan, he softly landed on the tatami without any damage, but I never placed any of my dolls on the edge ever again.

The other one, well, its horrid. I used to place my two dolliehs at my little baby chair which I used to sit on...UNTIL my poodle PEED on my Charles!!! X.X My mother came in after I yelled OH SHIT and felt so bad for Charles that she scolded my dog who was already hiding under my bed learning his lesson. Afterwards, my mom took off Charles' clothes, washed them while I washed his shoes and his legs.

Somehow class trips always turn out not entirely successful.

My worst story was when my dollzone helen was standing on the dining room table. I turned away from the table for a second and my cat decided to investigate. The cat flipped out, leaving me with four little scratches on my tummy and my doll fell directly onto the floor. The fall snapped two of her fingers and took a chip out of her elbow. I cried.

This is not really a bad story at all, but I think it's a story to tell.

I took my dolls to school today for photography class, and my friend stopped me to take a look (She is very interested in the hobby) at my dolls, so I took them out of the bag for her. As soon as I did, a mentally disabled/autistic guy was walking past, he sees the dolls and starts half-yelling and scolding me, saying that I can't bring that to school.

It took a while before I could explain to him that I was bringing them for a school project, which he understood and went his way.

The probable conclusion is that the Special Needs part of school probably doesn't allow toys in the classrooms, and he may have taken that rule a bit too far

Pretty typical for an autistic person to take rules and spreaking up to others if those rules are not followed. They are very linear like that. A rule is set for everyone so they expect everyone to follow it. If someone doesn't that does not meet their expectations and they will resist (they could be scared of it even). The outcome will be Depending on how autistic and how well he/she learned to deal with it. My son these days can coup with these kinds or irrigilarities. Used to be a big deal for him too when something didn't follow the rules.

My worst BJD story is still Molly trowing her head off. And just stop and think about me only ever owning plastic or porceline dolls and these to me resembled porceline more then anything else!
I only had her for 2 days and she was my first BJD. The problem was that she had an S hook which was supposed to hold her head on her body... but it didn't and I was at a lose to why. But before figuring out the trick (simple matter of turning the S hook around a quarter)I tried placing her on her feet on the table because I liked it so much that these dolls could stand as well as they could (I know better now... thanks to Molly and her "cat on a hot tin roof" routine every time I try and put her on her feet )
But Anyway I tried to place her on the table and instead of standing there she emmidiatly flipped her torso so took a deep bow for me...AND launching her head in the air!!!
the thought of me having a BJD for 2 whole days and now she was going to be broken!?!?! went trough my head as I screamed in a very high and very VERY hard voice NOOooooo!! As if that was going to stop the head from hitting the floor
I think they could have heard that miles away and my husband and sons came running to see what was going on.
It hit the chair and then the floor and every thump made me crinch. And I had to crawl under the table to find the head.
With trembling hands I checked to see if the head was damaged but no dent or scratch could be found.
I think you can imagine how releaved I was

I understand what the Autistic guy meant, as an Autistic myself. I used to do that back when I was in lower school, but I don't do it since it kinda makes me look bossy.

Yeah, I'm an Aspie myself, so I kinda understood right away what he meant. I didn't know whether he was low-functioning autistic or just plain mentally disabled though, and I'll probably never get the chance to ask him, what with being strangers and all that.

back in 09 i got my very first doll ( aod chi ) i was so happy he was a birthday gift from my now ex boyfriend. anyway i finally got him home and put him sitting on the edge of the top shelf of my book shelf. i had yet to get a chair for him scene i knew very little of the hobby at the time >> ( i had gotten the doll of ebay that is how little i knew ). so i go out of the room to get his box i left in the living room and come back just in time to see my cat up on the shelf sniffing him and she pushes against him just enough to knock him off the 4 foot tall shelf. thankfully he landed in my laundry basket full of clothes waiting to be folded. never before have i been so happy i put off doing a chore. and i learned my lesson that day. now at 11 dolls they all have chairs and my three cats all know getting on that bookshelf means getting the water bottle.
