So with the holidays coming up, I've been thinking it would be pretty neat to make my dolls some ugly Christmas sweaters. Then of course I thought of here and what could everyone come up with for their dolls.

Could it be a contest? Or just a photo thread? Or something more interactive?


P.S. We stop for Thanksgiving at my house but wanted to get the ball rolling and ideas flowing.

omg, this reminded me. Carlton brand christmas cards! they have ones that look like shirts that might fit smaller SD dolls.
i dunno if hallmark or others are doing the same.
i tried to google a pic, but no luck i'll take a photo at work.

I am so behind the idea of posting Christmas sweaters for our kids. I'll have to go shopping for Christmas socks to turn into sweaters for Johnny and Cherry. (I can feel Johnny glaring at me from here.)

Well I can see that contest and "just a thread" are running rather neck and neck. I don't know why people feel that just because something is a contest it's not as fun to enter - but here is my suggestion.

A) I endorse the contest idea - lets see those homemade (yes, converting a wine bottle sweater should not count) sweaters (break out the cheesy Xmas socks folks!) in a contest!

B) Lets have a "come one, come all" thread as well. What the hey, is it possible to have too many ugly Xmas sweaters??? Last year I got my hands on some really awesome wine bottle sweaters, but then I lost my job and rather lost the urge to convert them to fit the dolls. This year I'm ready for it!

I'm gonna vote for just a thread for photo's personally...Contests stress me out and I already made most of my crew Christmas sweaters..I was just gonna look for wine bottle sweaters. But if a contest does pop up...I may enter..I guess I'll see.

I personally won't be able to run a contest. So I guess we'll have one if someone wants to host it.

heheh... how fun. I doubt I'll have my doll space up and running by Christmas but we can always hope. I DID get a glimpse of the box that Ivan's box is in. There was dramatic music playing in the background.

Don't forget ugly Christmas sock sweaters.

I like the wine bottle cover sweaters! But I have to say, that sweater with the flamingos is possibly the ugliest I have seen!
