Resin BJD age

I wondering about how long can a resin BJD last?
Will it still be the same in 10 years (except skin color) if I always play with mine carefully? I hope that it can last as long as it can be because the doll I'm going to have will share some of my personalities and my favorite characteristic and growing old with me (changing style, backstory and age, etc).
I read that the modern BJD was launched by dollfie for the the first time is 1999 so the oldest doll there is 14 years. So anyone who have own one and maybe have him/her for around 5 year or more, does your doll still the same (except yellowing)? Does the resin feel different or not as strong as before?
Thank you very much and all answer is appreciated
