For us its like we build up a character, work on their clothes shoot them and etc. Its an expression of our creativity or something to destress to after work. Some folks just sees the dolls as either a waste of time or just a thing to collect because its pretty.
Some people just think right of the bat that all I have are violent dolls because of their fighter/warrior/assassin background. They don't get kung fu/ movie /wire stunts/dance that started me off. I just stop explaining stuff to people who just want to find fault with things or want things to be as how they see it.
Keep having fun with Cherry.
No one can stop me from loving my dolls, especially my pet Cherry. Have no fears on that.

Well, I am a little weird, but I embrace my differences. If we were all exactly the same the world would be no fun at all.

Seriously, well adjusted people, who care about others, don't make rude, thoughtless comments regardless of how they feel about a subject. I don't care for spiders, but I certainly wouldn't made that kind of nasty comment to someone who had pet arachnids. It's just plain
mean.
Yeah, the trainee who made the comment is pretty pig-mean. She's insulted me on occasion, but in such a way that I can't respond to it. I don't care what she says really, but I guess I'm pretty defensive about Cherry. Still, all the other trainees in my pod agree she's pretty much a vicious backbiting little bitch anyway, so. That makes me feel better.

Heh! That sounds pretty good actually. Someday I plan to make dolls of Sebastian and Ciel from
Black Butler and Barb and I will have a similar "shared custody" arrangement.
richila wrote:You can't fix stupid-The new trainee. Richi has her own office in my classroom. Most of my students adore Richi. They bring their final projects from Geometry, a toothpick bridge, to have her stand on the bridges for pictures. One of the boys is a "Dolls are Creepy" Creeper. It is all I can do not to assign her to the desk next to his and set up her desk and laptop so she can work. Considering how little work I get from him, Richi would probably finish the class first-even without my help.
That sounds so cool! I want to make Riri a little workstation that will sit on top of my desk. Since I have the next two days off I might start working on that...*gets glue gun*

LOL! Thank you for your creative cutdown. And thank you for your praise for my girl. I think she's pretty too.
You guys are the greatest, seriously. Group hug? {{{{{^.^}}}}}
