The following changes have been made to the rules in the hope of encouraging more entries:

1. Extension of deadline to January 7th (meaning you have until midnight that day to post an entry).

2. Elimination of categories. There will be one winner chosen who will select their prize from those offered.

3. Sock requirement has been altered - now only ONE doll in photo must be in sock garb - so if you want to include a pack, don't sweat sewing for them all.

All other rules, including the 1 entry per person (not per doll) rule remain the same.

And for those who are worried about having to buy socks - no one said you had to! You don't HAVE to use Xmas socks you know. Turning an everyday plain sock into a winter (notice I'm not saying holiday, I'm saying WINTER) outfit is part of the creativity of the challenge. I've made lovely winter sweaters out of normal, every day socks.

I'm glad to hear that I can use regular socks - although I already kinda assumed - cause holiday socks aren't such a big thing here... So far I haven't found a single pair :-o

Europe hasn't reached the level of obscene Xmas commercialism that we have here. Lucky you LOL.

It kinda has, but even though Christmas is taking over here, Dutch Sinterklaas (dec 5th) is still bigger :-)
