hehehe... I had too much fun making Chibi Ivan today. I'm going to definitely get him some magnetic feet though, his head and hair are so heavy they pull him down. But alternately, the hair serves as a sort of stand and props him up. Ha!

Ok, magnet feet - you don't need to replace them!!! Look at the bottom of his feet - notice the round area where the magnet should be in the heel. If you take a pin and poke it into that round area you will discover it is nothing more than a soft plug stuck in the magnet spot. Pull the plug out and go to your favorite seller of rare earth magnets to buy some that are 1/8" in diameter and 1/16" in height.
K&G Magnetics sells them at 10 for 1.20. Unfortunately postage will make the total $10, but maybe you can buy some other magnets too LOL. Um, and the answer is Yes, I know all this because I, too, regret not getting magnet feet hahahahaha

As for the magnets...
Wouldn't the Magnets and Stand set Emory is selling work too? I'm thinking of getting mine without magnet feet. (So I can get mine quicker. Amp down the price and all that...) I might do that myself with the magnets...

Oh man Chibi Ivan is so amazingly cute!
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
