I didn't take this pic due to a lack of camera but this was my entry into the Custom Contest at the 2011 MLP Fair. It has a My Little Pony Pinkie Pie body, a Konji body, and a mini Raspberry Tart head. Her friend is the body from the Raspberry Tart doll I used for the centaur with a McD's LPS head.

The body and head mismatch on the centaur one was not so obvious in person. I might need to find a way to make it match better.

I've been wanting to do this with a mlp for forever! I just haven't found the right body.... I think I might use an old beat up Powder for it though...

A Polly Pocket body is about the same size as a Konji body if you want to try this with a current pony. Not sure what to use with a G1 MLP tho I have a G1 sized fakie with an ugly head that seems to have lost a battle with a marker that I want to try to centaurify with a Chelsea (Mattel's idea of a Kelly replacement) body. That one's gonna take longer since I'd have to paint the body and I am lazy when it comes to painting.

I was thinking about using a monster high, because that sway back just belongs on a centaur. ;D I was thinking about building up the legs with apoxie, but I wasn't sure if that would be strange or not with a short uh...torso? Abdomen? The horse back/belly part. haha. I had originally bought a Princess Celestia (that big one with the flappy wings that is out now for $20) But I took her out of the box (with out removing her from the plastic casing and ties) and looked her over. Only her head was soft like a real MLP, the rest of her was hard plastic and held together with screws. ;( So I returned her.

that is a really interesting idea. I also like the monster high mashup take. Be sure to post pics is you attempt it!
