Hi all! I was hanging around Mimiwoo website when I saw this cute little one:

138$ for a 13 cm doll doesn't really make me enthusiastic, but he seems so cute! And now I'm so unsure... On the "yes" side I had some money from my parents for my birthday, so I can currently afford him; he seems the less pricey cute cat doll I've seen at this moment (I like a lot Nobility dolls Taro, but it's 200$ and only 6 cm taller). On the "No/Not Sure" side: I've see only an owner picture of this doll and something doesn't convince me (probably the unblushed pawns); I have a lot of unfinished projects going on that will probably requires money for Obitsu bodies to be completed.

What do you think about my dilemma and my considerations? Someone has this doll and/or some Dikadolls and want to share her/his experience? Thank you all for your attention!

P.S. This is the only Mian Mian I found shotted by her owner.

Well, I'm not in love with how they give it a worried facial expression :( but it is a really cute kitty doll. $138 is actually a good price for a tiny - lord knows I've paid more for a few of mine *groan* I like the feet - a nice cross between animal and more anthropomorphic :)

As for whether to buy - I always say that when in doubt see how you are reacting to it. In other words, are you thinking about it frequently? Do you go back to look at the photos often? do you keep trying to find more pics to decide? Are you envisioning what you are going to do? For me if I find that all (or most all) of those things are happening I probably want to buy the doll and should just do it :)

So cute. My mother has always collected little cat figurines (clay, porcelain etc.) and I'd love to get her a tiny cat BJD at some point... But these are a bit pricy as a gift aren't they..?

I don't like the worried face-up too, but if I decide for "yes" that will not be a problem, because I'll buy a blank doll and do the face-up myself. I found him yesterday accidentally and actually I cannot stop thinking about him (or her), so I'm afraid to be already positive to you "buy test", Greyhaunt XD

@Evelien: Well, when I have enough cash and the certainty that a person special to me will especially appreciate a specifically expensive gift I'm always very happy to spend my money, but that's my point of view. And maybe out there, there is a cute little less expensive cat for your mom...

True, I love my mom to bits and you've got a point there, I'd gladly spend that much money on her... but I'd want her to *really* like the dolly and I'm just not sure. I've also looked at Tamdoll cat BJDs which are a LOT cheaper but they have painted-on eyes which is a big turnoff for me, even though my mother probably won't be bothered haha, but it makes them less BJD-y for me...

I've just seen Tamdoll's pets, they are cute to death! But even if they can (limitedly) pose, I agree with you, they don't give me the feeling of a BJD...

I've been staring at this little kitty on MoC for MONTHS, but I'm so torn. She's adorable, but I just can't bring myself to it. I can't put my finger on it, but something is keeping me from really wanting her.

If I didn;t have a Pixiu on pre-order and have obitsu parts I am in need of-- I would buy one of these in a heartbeat.

Doll Factory has a cute little kitty, and she's only (only!) $125.00 plus shipping.

I think she's really cute, and I like the proportion of her paws, and the fact that they look like paws, better than the Mimi Woo kittieh. Of course, that's just my opinion.
