Cleo de Nile hands type question

Postby ~TurkishDelight~ » Tue Aug 06, 2013 2:42 am

I want to get a Cleo de Nile doll, but I noticed there are different types of hands. I want a Cleo with fingers that aren't stuck together, and I was wondering which Cleos have hands like that? Also, if there are Cleos with long nails, I'd like to know which Cleos they are. :P

I have the School's Out Cleo (the one with teal and brown streaks in her hair, a gold band around her head, and blue eye makeup), and her fingers are spread apart (most of my girl's hands are like that, but most of mine are older lines too). The School's Out Cleo has been my favorite (with the new Ghoulia/Cleo Science Class doll running a close second now), and I spent a while tracking her down, but that was a year ago now.
I don't think any Cleo released has long nails, but Jinafire and Abbey do. Maybe you could paint to match if you really wanted?

Thank you, ShadowKat. It's a real shame there's no Cleo with long nails, especially since I've seen her artwork with long nails. I don't know how to paint the hands of other dolls to match, so I guess I'll try to make tiny nails and stick them on her somehow. I only need Cleo's full body without the head or clothes, so maybe I can get her on eBay, but I was surprised to see people sell nude dolls for as much as the fully clothed, accessorized dolls in the stores.

Long nails? I haven't seen one with long nails but I do know of a wait to make them.

Those plastic coated paper clips. If you carefully remove the plastic and cut it in half length wise you can make Barbie nails out of it. I'm sure you can do the same for Cleo. You can glue them on with a tiny bit of superglue or Elmer's if you want to be able to remove them later.
The pen is mightier than the sword.... Unless this is a sword fight.
