Spotlight Fashionista Kayla, Uh Raquelle...

She's still a Kayla to me, but the latest Fashionista "Raquelle" is a cutie. She has really nice hair with bangs. Most photos of her do not do her justice at all but it's the best one I can find until I unbox her. The dress does nothing for me but I quite like her. Her makeup is very purple in that Raquelle way. That color is always used for the Raquelle character a lot no matter what face she has. The bangs though are unusual with this sculpt. I have one from the Basics line that's similar, but not with the toothy smile, but other than that I don't think I've seen another Kayla that has hair quite this style or styled quite this nice. Her hair is two toned and long as well as being banged. The Nikki (Artsy) doll has a better outfit but I cannot stand that sculpt. The Spotlight Barbie, she looks stoned, I swear. This has been a major thing with the Barbie doll lately. The Dreamhouse Barbie too, she looks like she's on cocaine or something. It's really freaky and it's totally turning me off collecting any new Barbies. The new designer shopper Steffie that out, same thing. She just doesn't look right. I usually grab the Basics type Steffies, and she has a great outfit too, but I don't want this one unless I can find one that looks less spaced out. Anyway the Kayla, she's $15 on sale at Target. I got mine for doing chauffeur duty today. But I think she's worth the $15 this one albeit I have got to do something better with that poofy dress.
