Aww, thanks so much, lulemee-san!!! I appreciate your kind words very much!! :hugs: I've actually since seen some actual clips from the movie on Youtube and changed her faceup to be more like in the 'Let It Go' sequence and her cape was much longer and icier blue so I redid that as well. I'm much happier with her now!!! ^^
victoriavictrix wrote:What a beautiful job you did! (Spoiler) What I adore about that movie is that the "true love" in it is between the sisters, and that Anna learns that running off looking for a "true love" in a hurry is generally not a good idea.
I know! It was (I think) a first for the 'Disney Princess' movies that the act of true love was a sibling/familial love! I haven't yet seen the film but I read about it and saw some clips so I'm really liking what I see so far. I had a feeling that Anna would need to learn that lesson!!! Thanks again for commenting and liking her. I've actually redone her face and cape this past week once I saw her in the movie clips during 'Let It Go'. I'm not really fond of her voice (it's a bit harsh) but that sequence really works and made me enjoy the song better. (I had bought the 17" Singing Elsa and Anna dolls to go with my Princess 17" set and my sister covers her ears everytime Elsa sings. It's kind of annoying!) I don't like how they made them 'motion activated'. They were singing practically every time someone made a move! SO I covered up their neck/chest areas and that helped a lot but you know what's funny? WHen I turn the lights off, they sing! So even covered up, somehow, turning off lights triggers their sensors! (Not 'on', just 'off.') Peculiar, ne? But thank you, VV-sama, for liking her and I hope you like her newest design and faceup, too! (I've posted new photos below.)
MelodyT wrote:Very cute dolls! I agree with you that the Disney Elsa is nicer than the Mattel Elsa. Good job on the touch ups and outfits too. Well done!
Thanks, MelodyT-san!! I'm really happy you like her!!! The one thing that's nice on the Mattel doll is that her skin is more pale normal and not pinkish/lavender! But, her head is so much smaller than the DS heads, that I couldn't mix and match them, because the DS Anna is just so perfect!!!! Anyway, I just remade her cape and her faceup to be more from the 'Let It Go' sequence. I hope you like her, still----I really think she's much, much improved!!!
Thanks again everyone!!!! :hugs:
