Disney Princess bodies?

Postby Wardah » Fri Oct 22, 2010 10:21 pm

There has been a lovely "poseable" Rapunzel at the Disney Store with shimmery tinsel in her hair. Now if she uses the standard bodies they been using for Disney Store dolls she will only have click knees. Now in Walmart I have seen these other sitting Disney Princess dolls with hinged knee legs. Is there any way one could swap the legs on the Disney Store doll with the legs on one of the Walmart dolls?

Posable princess on the right, and after a head swap.

Not bad, and it's the best batch of princes they've ever done, he has a similar range of motion.

I was talking about using the legs of these dolls:

They all come in a box like the Belle but it is slightly misleading. The arms do not pose at all just the legs. And I wouldn't even bother with Ariel as she seems a bit pinkish for some reason.

What I'd like to know is are leg swaps even possible on playline doll bodies? And while on the subject of swapping parts what about arms?
