Monster High Custom- Sabine, Daughter of a Hagraven

Postby CrazyYoungCatLady » Wed Aug 19, 2015 10:41 pm

I found the CAM harpy add-on forever ago and knew right away that I wanted to make a Hagraven (from the video game Skyrim. See here: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Hagr ... 8Skyrim%29). As you may know, the add-on sets don't come with torsos or upper limbs so it's hard to get color matches. I was trying to decide if I wanted to paint a body and the add-on all one color or try to find a similar color. I went with the latter and used the vampire from a CAM set.

I didn't want to wipe the factory paint because I'm not very good at painting eyes and haven't had good luck with decals as they are hard to get on the rounded eyes of the MH heads, so I left the factory paint and enhanced it. I added shading to her eyes and cheeks and made her lips darker. I blushed her legs and wings, and painted her nails black. I made her wig out of costume fur. I made her top and added feathers to a skirt I already had.

That's a great custom! Love the feathers on her skirt, I bet it was hard to get them to hang well. Lovely work.

Thank you! Yes, those feathers were a little unruly.
