Thoughts on Pullip Dolls

Postby versora » Tue Feb 02, 2016 2:47 am

I've been seeing a trend of Pullip dolls lately. They are cute, and don't get me wrong I like my MH doll, But these are in my opinion cuter I guess I prefer the Anime style. Though I don't regret getting my MH dollie. My big guy has someone to hug at least, lol.

Does anyone own one? What are your opinions? If so where do you recommend I buy one?

[I hope Pullips belong in this section since the tallest I've read them at is 14"]

I recommend! Love these dolls.

I think they fall into this category... j-dolls have the exact same bodies. The only difference is their heads.

I found Pullip Peter Pan at Tuesday Morning years ago and was smitten. She has the prettiest brown eyes. Before then, I thought Pullip looked too weird. Now I have three Pullips, 2 Dals, 6 j-dolls and one Byul. Most were found at Tuesday Morning. Two are from Amazon and one is from Pullip Style

They are very poseable. However, Pullip's big head make her tricky to stand. You also need to be aware of their body type. Type three has weak wrists. One of my j-dolls wrist broke off in the box. Fortunately, I think all of the newer girls have the type 4 body which are not nearly as flimsy.

I hope this helps.

Cool. Thanks ^_^. I also noticed some male versions. I was thinking of getting a male version.
