Some of the 1/6th guys escape their cardboard tomb...

Lol, it's been pointed out that I don't do nearly enough with these guys - um sorry most of their accessories live in the awkward to reach areas where the majority of the Tony's live (and they'd just been re-put away yesterday so no Dum-E or Iron Man suit related shenanigans)

Image
Methos just sneaking around, being ...sneaky. (Still need to get him a modern gun and a european style sword, for now imagine he's borrowing one of Duncan's or something!)

Is that an Immortal he senses?

Image
Oh noes! It's the infamous K'Immie - Lo-Key!!! Dun dun dun!

Image
"I am Loki, of Asgard and I am burdened with a glorious purpose... There can be only one."
Things are looking bad for Methos, Loki scores first blood.

Image
Suddenly Tony appears... With his Father's shield. (Damn you Cap you fascist! I can well believe MCU Cap is Hydra too given the way he thinks he knows more than most of the UN, and the democratic nations...)
Tony somehow manages a bit of sneaky cognitive recalibration with the shield.

Image
Tony desperately missing his shoes with lifts.

Image
Tony: "Hey! Not funny guys!"

Image
A wild Winter Soldier appeared!
Methos uses Sneak, it's not very effective...
Tony: *eyeroll* Who has the shield???

Image
The really disturbingly handsome Doctor Doom suddenly appears! Escalating the tensions further...
(seriously lol, google Invincible Iron Man and Dr Doom, he's very different now, and Tony really does think he's handsome  )

Image
Doomy prepares a magic spell...

Image
Loki readies a counterattack... (Though tbh he looks more like Hunter S.Thompson here than a magician!)

Image
Methos: "Don't worry Mr Stark, I'll protect you. (For sneaky reasons of my own...)
Tony: "Hey, who's holding the shield again?"

Magical backlash! BOOM...

When the smoke clears... Everyone who wasn't behind the unobtanium- ahem I mean adamantium shield has vanished and strange monsters have taken their places...

Image
Tony (sotto voice): What the hell is wrong with them?
Methos: Too much plastic surgery?

Image
The Doctor: Hey! I resemble that remark!

The Doctor battles the Clockwork Droid, and Tony and Methos sneakily sneak away in the ensuing chaos.

Image
And a final height comparison shot of Lorne and Spike.

Hope that was amusing - it was mostly an excuse to show everyone the additions to my kitbash/customised guys. Spike now has better tailoring than his stock, though I need to paint that ring so it looks like the Gem of Amarra. Similarly Lorne has a better suit, but I've yet to decide if I want it to remain white, or if I should dye it a suitably garish colour!

Ahhhh, this is awesome. You should do stories like this more often :P Because fun!

I actually have that Sideshow Spike - minus vamp face and human hands. I need the human hands, actually. Also how did you get the tailoring to look better? I think Lorne looks fantastic in his suit, dying it another colour would kind of ruin the pop of any other colour you put near him.

Poor Tony being so short though, he needs his shoes with hidden lifts. Like what Angel wears (I need to find shoes that will fit a Hot Toy figure too. They just need to look decent with a kilt) Side note: am looking for an Angel Sideshow figure, mostly because I invite the pain that is he and Spike constantly fighting.

... I need to do more little stories...

But yes! You have an awesome little group here! If there is more, it would be cool to see ^^

Lol. Freedom does weird things to dolls or action figures in this case.

Methos is quite a tall one.

Thanks! I may try to dig out some of the box-dwellers, but it'll be a little while. (I think the wait will be until the next 1/6th addition comes in... Gods I'm one of the worst 1/6 collectors ever, I'm layawaying one of those Gangsters Kingdom sets purely for all of the torture equipment it comes with, because I really really want to have a Hydra has kidnapped Tony set-up. My Hot Toys "Mechanic" figure is going to be the "lucky" volunteer to sit in the chair that's part of the Gangsters Kingdom Billy set... Probably with one of my random realistic floating heads as the torturer, or perhaps Bucky... I refuse to pick up MCU Stebe even though that would be ironically perfect.)

werepuppy: Um basically apart from the headsculpts (I've got all three Spike headsculpts at this stage, even the rubbish train-version) and choice accessories, like the cross/dagger, skull and the gem that fries him, nothing about Spike is original any more. He's on a broad shouldered HT body that I picked up cheap (I think it was a batman body? Eh, either way the broad shoulders go some way to counteracting his oversized noggin!) and his whole outfit has been replaced with newer closer fitting examples, boots to coat. Lorne is still on his original "Buck" Sideshow body in comparison, and well, much as the proportions really work very well for Lorne you can see how odd they are!

Still it's worked out very nicely for that pair, since it means Spike is pretty short in comparison! I'm quite glad that I don't really want to pick up any of the rest of the Sideshow Buffy line, putting those two together got surprisingly expensive given how cheaply I managed to pick up the original parts. I've got to admit I was never a big enough fan of Angel to want him but I do hope you find him! (Illyria/Fred on the other hand remains a temptation, but I'm self-aware enough to know that I would not be able to carry off all of that blue, let alone find something to approximate her armour!) Though I've got to admit, much of the temptation about the dye with Lorne is my perpetual worry about how long that suit is going to actually remain white...

Iwa_Hoshi: As for Methos - he's on a cheap (Well it was cheap at the time when the pound was strong against the dollar  ) Ryo Saeba Hot Toys body, I think it's got both long legs and long ankle pegs, but I'm not 100% sure, by happy coincidence the slightly yellow tinge to that body matches really well with the Royce headsculpt. (Though it did mean that Ras/Qui Gon was yet again floating around loose in a box! He keeps losing his bodies to newer heads! )

Well I suppose that what happens when you swing lightsaber around regularly and own a Lazarus pit.

On a serious note. I didn't expect Ryo Seaba to be that tall. Had thought Methos was on a narrow shoulder version of the TTM20

Hee! Thanks guys!

As for the weapons, snigger - to quote a scene in Doctor Who I'd imagine Tony is doing something implausibly disgusting with the shield, being Tony and all! As Captain Jack once said...

"Where were you hiding that?"

"You really don't want to know."

And in Highlander the series (where Methos originates from) they employed a guy known as the "magic pocket guy" for the scenes where they'd block together the two separate images of the Immies removing their implausibly large broadswords and the like from their coats, which ranged from the semi-believable dusters all the way up to bomber jackets!
