I so want this out on a table, in something more permanent then foam core (although I can change my mind easily this way).
But, alas. That is not to be.
The dio is on a 2' x 4' piece of particle board, with walls and roof of foam core boards - held together with T-pins. The wall/roof assembly just sits on the particle board.
The floor is some sheets of cardstock and textured paper, inexpertly laid in place.
The back wall is covered in fancy wrapping paper with slightly shiny stripes.
I pieced the back wall using toothpicks as biscuit joints, then hot glued a scrap of foam core across the join on the outside.
The dio stuffed into a closet with sliding doors. The doors really make it hard to get the thing in. It is not possible to slide the whole assembly in. The particle board was already in place. Then I stuck the roof in. Then I held the roof up with one hand, while stuffing the walls in with the other. I can't reach the back of the roof, so only the sides of the roof are T-pinned in place.
Anyway, enough whining!

You can see here the different color of the center strip of roof (older foam core - le sigh)
Then - since the other side of the wall is where my larger dolls live, my April Story SD had to stick her head in.
I have some more furniture on the way and am looking forward to playing some more.
