Mattel Harry Potter haircut

Postby DollyKim » Mon Jul 05, 2021 4:51 pm

When I get my Yule Ball Harry Potter I’m thinking of adding yarn or wool to his hair to give him a sort of Cure thing, he looks enough like Teddy, but dome of the bangs have to go so he has more of a center part.
What are good ways to give his sculpted plastic hairs a bit of a trim without looking too bad. It would be repainted after.

And does the scar come off with usual doll paint remover?

Yes the scar comes off. You can sand off his hair and reroot him.

Don’t need to take all of it off, just some bangs. I plan to glue roving wool or yarn on top for the exploding goth, nothing brushable

A sharp scalpel/exacto knife would prob work. Or a dremel, if you have one.
