I may order one of each for them plus one of the more natural skin tone male bodies for Fashionista Ken. I've really been wanting to upgrade him too. It will have to wait till after Christmas though I think.

Returning to the topic, there are some Fashion Royalties with really white complexion like this http://www.integritytoys.com/page/brands/current_collection/name:fashion_royalty/doll:617 but I don't know much about this kind of dolls, and if their prices and technical features justify the use for body shifting.
I have two white Obitsu but no white Barbies, so unfortunately I cannot do a comparation for you, but surely someone here can...

Spelling demons. I have a Fashion Royalty but she's the Japan skin tone. A big thing with them is they are about one size bigger than Barbies and can't share clothes. *I'm not to thrilled with the lack of movement with an FR either. I'd still point you to a white Obitsu or Volks, or a clear Obitsu to make her more ghostly. Is she the one in Twilight who turns in to a Snuffleupagus?
