Doll leaves Lili arrives!

Well, my Doll Leaves Lili arrived today. I had originally planned for her to take over as being Azalea, Asher's twin sister.

That idea failed miserably.



Sculpt-wise.... they look absolutely unrelated.
Complete failure.

So, I took off her original faceup, which I hated, and considered my options. It then came to mind that I had an plan of making an imaginary friend for the twins. It would be somewhat Calvin and Hobbes-ish with a stuffed bunny that the adults would see, but the kids could see a bunny-girl.

She'll still need a bit of work, and a new faceup, but here is the imaginary bunny girl: Angora!

LOL - one of my dolls has an "imaginary friend" doll as well! My BBB Isabella, Kyleigh, has a rabbit friend named Rosalynd (who is a DZ Bunny). Only Kyleigh, other kids, and spirit creatures can see Rosalynd - to adults it's just empty space

The idea is simply awesome, and she's really sweet *_* Wiping out her previous face up was a good deed U_U

I finally had time for her this weekend. There's more detail and color in the face than the photo shows. (One of these days I should get around to figuring out how to take better pictures)

The "dress" is due to a last minute moment of ambition. I like the concept, but may try to find something better looking at some point.

Maybe pink eyes in the future? I'm not liking the blue too much, but the green didn't look right.



Her eyelashes of doom are to reflect her plushie-self, which also has major eyelashes.

Too cute! I think pink eyes might make her look too lab rat. Maybe a brown would work.

I was hoping for albino rabbit, but now all I can think of is rat!

I have her green eyes back in now and am considering moving her back to her jacket. The more I look at her the more I see a fluffy sheep instead of a rabbit. I'll find her something more appropriate eventually.
