Rebodied StarDoll

Postby Mary Kathryn » Sun Feb 19, 2012 7:19 pm

I can't find if I'd posted this already. I decided to rebody all three of my Stardolls to make them more versatile. Two of them got Fashionista bodies but the one Fallen Angel gal got the Mistress of Ceremonies body from the Jazz Babies series. (Don't worry, MoC got a stationary model muse body.)
Here she is:

Here's the Bonjour Bizou girl on her new body:

One note for rebodying - their neck holes are smaller than Barbie. They will fit on the Barbie body, just make sure you've got the rubber warmed up really well to keep it from ripping.

Neat! That was the main thing keeping me away from the StarDolls was their bodies. I can see that skin matches very well too.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

It really does. I don't know why I posed them both with their hands on their heads. Maybe all that swapping caused a headache? XD

On that last girl - is that a "tan" body, or is it the body for the african american fashionista? I need bodies for some tan Takara Jenny girls and i'm having a horrible time finding anything that is even remotely tan :(

I have a couple of the Star Dolls too, one on a pivotal and the other on an older pale Fashionista. It would be nice to have a list of potential matches because I've half considered getting a couple more.

And I think I hear somewhere Stardoll shoes fit Monster High.

I really want that FA but I just cannot rationalize $20 for a head. I absolutely hate her outfit. The only thing that appeals about her is her head. I get tempted to buy her and sell the rest but I doubt I'd make enough back for it to be worth it. She is so pretty though and I'm really kind of smitten with her face.

They look beautiful! What with the great faces and clothing, rebodying them makes for a nigh perfect doll ( sorry, hyperbole mode must be switched on - they are beautiful!)
Their shoes do fit MH very well. The closed toed pairs work on Liv too.

It was from a Barbie..er...Barbie. So it's a regular medium skintone.

Yes, after the rebody my MH gals got all the Stardoll shoes. I really was going to leave them on the stardoll body but I started seeing the possibilities where other folks had rebodied and had to try it. Once they were on their new mobile bodies there was no going back.
