Venias's circlet, and several hand surgeries...

^ Venias's hair would not stop falling in his face, so I made him a little circlet from gold and copper wire. (Those are the colors, not what the wire is actually made of.)

Also, he had finger-separation surgery. I've done this on several of the guys before (and Prizm) but this was the first time I thought to sand between the fingers after x-acto'ing them apart. It worked much better than trying to shave the extra bit of skin of the middle finger with the knife.

^ Sabine, who lost a hand (and by that, I mean her original hand is actually missing... I can't find it anywhere) got a new Obitsu fist hand... I was just trying to see if I could fit an Obitsu hand in the Volks wrist hole... It was loose, so I coated the peg with clear nail polish... and it ended up needing like 7 coats before it was thick enough to not fall out of the hole. <.< I want to put a different hand on there, but I don't know if I have the patience to do that again.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Nice work all around, particularly with the hands! They look wonderful.
Doesn't sound like fun fixing the add-on hand though. If something like that happens again, someone else here might be able to suggest a material that would work fast for fixing. I'm not sure myself, so I don't want to give you any bad advice.

Well, I could have just coated the peg with hot glue, but I wasn't sure what the exact thickness-difference was. Now that I know, if I ever lose a Volks hand again, that's what I'll probably use.

..... I suppose I could also check if VolksUSA carries spare hands for its 1/6th girls, but I have a ton of spare Obitsu hands just sitting around anyway/

Hello :)

That is good job. I like Sabine's heir.

And, hmm.. small tips for her hand.

* Sorry, I forgot an English text to this page, but I wrote a rough summary in the bottom of this thread... :?

Volks hand joint is about 4mm diameter, and Obitsu is 3mm.
I think your easy way is:
1) Wrap Obitsu joint with tissue paper.
2) Glue it together (drop instant glue... bit smell).
