Finished my Kittahs!

Postby kenaiqueen » Mon Nov 19, 2012 8:19 pm

Here are my two cat girls, C'mell (white) and the newly re-named Hilfy (gray). These are my first attempts at face-ups, so please be kind. (I now have an even deeper admiration for those who do face-ups for hire!)

Image
The clothes are temporary placeholders until I can come up with things that fit better and show more personality, but they are close enough to the girls temperments for now.

Image
C'mell is more human and doesn't wear her tail. She's a high-priced companion. (A girly-girl, if you will. ;) ) No whiskers for this girl either. She has tiny gold dots on her ears that you can almost see.

Image
Hilfy is a bit wilder and far more catty. She's got lilac Siamese points.

Image
Both of the girls sport gilt manicures/pedicures. Eventually, I'd like to get their ears drilled for earrings.

Image
In spite of their differences, they are littermates. If I hadn't stolen their names from SF books, I'd write them into my next failed/unsold/unfinished sf novel.

I love them both, and C'mell was always one of my favorite characters!

Thanks everyone!

For the eyelashes, I went to my local Fred Meyer and bought the cheapest human hair ones I could find. I was able to do both dolls with one set by cutting each in half. Then I trimmed them a bit so they weren't too long.
