Yay! I Just Scored MS Vespa Kenzie....

It's been a while since I had a new My Scene doll. I've collected a good number of them over the years including the boys. I've actually been wanting this girl for a pretty long time. She's very expensive to buy in the box though and you rarely see her used as her character is more scarce than most when it comes to MS dolls. I like all the MS characters but I particularly like Chelsea and her cousin Kenzie. I sort of made it a personal mission a long while back to get all of the Kenzie dolls they ever made since they only made a few and I thought it would be fun to have them all. With this doll I have them all. I got her sans Vespa but that's no problem because I never liked the color of it anyway. I'm going to buy this doll a Harley toy or something. She's such a bad a- this doll! She can handle a real machine.

This the Miami Getaway aka Vespa Kenzie...

She photographs very nicely this doll, I think...

I can't wait till she shows up! It's going to be so much fun posing them all together. I don't think I know of but one other MS collector that's managed to snag them all. I actually have doubles on the masquerade doll so it's going to be quite a lovely crew of Kenzies.

She cost me $14 plus shipping, oh and I got a ton of Bratz with her too, including this one which I kind of like. She's one of those Masquerade dolls, Finora, dressed like a witch. Likely I'll share the rest with the nieces. I only keep Bratz with very interesting colored hair and most of these are just normal Bratz. I don't have an all pink haired Bratz though so I am going to keep that one. It was a good lot though. I got like 8 normal Bratz, plus 3 little Bratz. plus Kenzie for that. Cost me as much to ship them though, but for a bit less than $30 it's pretty decent and it gives me stocking stuffers for the girls so that's good. That saved me some $$$ for Christmas since they don't mind used dolls and they like Bratz. (Much to their Mom's dismay who if she still had her way would not have them in the house!)

pretty! She does look like a real character :). And the earrings/top suit her very well. I'm amazed by people who can crochet so well on something that tiny.

Kenzie's supposed back character reminds me of a cross between someone like Delta Burke and Midge. She's got the hair and freckles and girl next door likeability of Midge but the sassy attitude of one of those Designing Women. The smiling doll in particular. She's a total firecracker. Usually I'm not fond of the MS dolls with toothy smiles but I have to admit it totally suits her.

Vespa Kenzie is in the house! She's having a hair treatment as I type. She needed a bath and hair condition but she will be getting clothes and she will be getting her pic taken tonight. I'm actually thinking about giving her a Liv body. This doll is a major thing with me and she's been a long time coming. I don't usually put MS dolls on fully articulated bodies but I just might make an exception in her case. I've got a lot of doll pictures to take. I've got to take pics of the D's, of Loralei, of Astor of Vivien. Ugh, too many dolls not near enough motivation lately, sigh. Sorry, been sick and I'm totally fighting a full on case of inertia for some reason. The only photography I've been doing has been work related...
