I am not versed at all in the skill of painting anything, let alone doll faces. I got my Freya's about a month or two ago and i made an attempt on by light grey girl, but it was awful. Today, I sprayed them down and settled in to try to make something look decent. I'm surprising proud of myself so far!
My white Freya is based on my character, Poe.
Obviously, you can see those marking are going to be a chore. BUT I AM DETERMINED. Here's what I managed to accomplish this evening.

I definitely don't hate it, which is pretty great! It's easy to tell that she's based on the character design. There's one or two small things I missed, but that's okay, I can add them later on when I do the body.
But...so far, so good?? Really, my biggest issues tend to be the detailing around the eyes/mouth/nose, since they require a steady hand and don't have much room for mistakes.
