Skin tone matches for 1/6 scale dolls, will this work questions and answers are welcome!

Stardoll Fallen Angel, in the wine colored dress, is very close to Obitsu normal
Jakks Pacific Lady Paradise normal matches 100 poses Fashionista Caucasian
Bratz Sasha is very close to Mattel AA medium (princess Tiana)

Someone know of Monster High matches?

Clawdeen Wolf should match well with tan Barbie Fashionista. I saw one hybrid on Monster Mash topic.

I was thinking about this the other day regarding the MH dolls. Most of the MH dolls I like are mostly the odd colored ones so thus far I've thus far avoided picking them up. Hard to match blue, pink et all, but then I got to wondering if maybe the colored Mattel Fairy bodies might work? I know I've seen blue and pink and maybe even a purple skinned fairy or two. Not much articulated that I can recall but are any of them the same colors maybe as the MH gang? I don't like the MH bodies much but the heads and hands are lovely I will admit.

Does anyone know if the Mattel Barbie as Bella from Twilight doll's skintone will match Volks NS or Obitsu Fleshtone?

I have no idea of this series (never seen it or know anything about it) but I've a commission to make a Bella anime Volks NS head on a Mattel Bella body and hope that the tones will match.

If she doesn't match, what Barbie body will match decently to Volks NS or Obitsu Flesh?

Thanks!!!!!!
Any help or advice would be appreciated! ^^

Hayden will match most really light but not white Barbies, like the Irish Princess, Scotland, Aine of Ireland, etc and dolls with a similar skin tone. She's too dark for a Twilight doll though. She's not quite Obitsu white. Think My Scene original Delancey too. I have a FF Drew on a Hayden, another on a Sophie and they both seem okay. Sophie is just a tad darker but she will usually do a lot of those dolls too. There's a shade between but it's almost not noticeable.

Katie is light but she has a slight pink/peach tone to her skin. There are some modern Barbies, like the Teen Courtney ones that she's pretty ideal for. She is also an excellent match for my 1967 RH TNT repro. Alexis works most of the time for a lot of the lighter skinned AA dolls, like Madison in the MS line and some Nikki's, but she's too light for anything beyond that. She's really just got a deep tan. She's not a dark AA doll at all, though some dolls are darker than others. The Alice doll and the bathing suit doll seem darker to me but they are still lighter than 90% of the AA dolls I'd like to rebody. She did work really well for my two Native American Midge Barbies though and I've also rebodied some of my darker Hispanic dolls with Alexis.

Daniela fits a lot of the Asian sculpt Kayla Barbies fairly well. I used her for about 3 of my Kaylas though I did have to go to Alexis for my one Kayla and to a Sophie for another. Kayla Barbies can run the gamut in skin tones but I really love that face so I tend to grab the good ones as I can. She's a bit closer to a flat neutral beige than the typical tanned fashionista body though she'll work for a lot of FF dolls that shade in a pinch. It really depends upon the shade of the doll head. I've noticed that some of the FF dolls don't even match their own bodies all that well. Sometimes the heads are lighter and the Liv is actually closer. For the Fashion Queen and similar repros I'd say Daniela would work best. The ponytails you'd need a Hayden, definitely or a Sophie. Daniela would be a bit too dark and beige for them. TNT repros, Katie. Light AA dolls, Alexis. You're out of luck so far for dolls like the darker Nikkis and the really dark African queens.

I absolutely love the Liv doll bodies with Barbie heads but there are two drawbacks. They have different feet than Barbie does and most Barbie shoes will not fit them as a result. Some MS boots seem to work, but you have to cut the backs a bit more usually to make them work. Flat action Barbie shoes can fit though and there are these Mary Janes that I believe may belong to Skipper that seem to fit rather well. I've also found I can use the shoes from those little girls from the Only Hearts Club but so far I've had major issues with finding them adult looking footwear that they can wear except for the ones that come with them. Most of what does is boots, and really strappy sandals. No pumps hardly except for the Moonlight Dance Sophie. I actually ended up buying like 4 of her on clearance just for the extra bodies and so I could paint the shoes and have more heels.

The second drawback is that they are small busted and slightly smaller in the shoulders and hips than some Barbies. That makes some larger playline Barbie heads look too big and the lack of chest and hips can be awkward when trying to fit Barbie dresses and pants on them. Most clothes will fit but they can end up with a little less cleavage than I'd like to see and the pants can be loose. Then again sometimes that works very well. My teen Skipper/Courtney Barbies, all my Celtic Barbies, and my TNT, my younger looking FF Barbies, they look really well on Liv bodies.

Wow! Thanks a lot for that!
(I've gotten my hands on a modern circle barbie head cheaply and I thought a liv doll would be a good body for her)

Which one? I love those but I don't have any as yet. They're a bit expensive to buy new. I'm really coveting the one Ken with the blue streaks and the redhead Barbie producer. They're all adorable though.

I found the redhead barbie (she's so smug looking!) I'm quite glad I got her as just a head tbh, as I'd have felt incredibly guilty immediately rebodying her!
