I adore Dear mine! I've been watching an Eddy peacock blue that's in stock on Denver Doll Emporium, but I can't bring myself to buy a full set when I know I'll just want to paint him as soon as he arrives. I thought the Dollmore Catish line was 1/6 for some reason, I remember wanting one at some point and only deciding against it because I couldn't afford it. If I somehow could get an extra paycheck before the 21st of the month, I'd order one of these Doll Chateau event girls:
They're 32cm, so they'd be sort of 'super model' height compared to the rest of the group I'm semi-planning. They look to be just a bit thinner than the ImplDoll Dream's Art Belinda, who's also 32cm and was my second choice when I decided to order my Candace. Doll Chateau has some of the most elegant sculpts I've seen, they're so dainty. I would love to order a Doll Chateau Zora as well, but now I'm getting way ahead of myself.
I'm still searching and considering as I learn more about what's out there, but I'm honestly a little confused by the limited range of options for large-headed, non-childlike, high articulation or ball jointed dolls... I mean, the scale has been around forever in the fashion doll world, I think... (Bratz, Blythe before that, right?) I think the closest BJD's I've seen are the Xaga Doll girls who come on the 'cute' body, but that doesn't help me with my search for boys.
