So you want to make a hybrid?

Barbie, Jenny, Fashion Royalty, Obitsu and 1/6 resins - basically anything 10-12inch/21-27cm or in the neighborhood.

I would think a Takara Petite Blythe hybrid would look pretty much the same as a LPS one since the heads are the same size and shape. The only difference is how the head is made which would probably make the process a little different.

So if you ever wanted the Polygonia Sebastian Michaelis dollieh but didn't have the money. (the low price of ¥102,000) You can now have him in Little Taeyang form. :D

Here are other good references to add to the list:

Little Dal on a Puki:

Little Dal on Groove's bjd ai body:

Little Dal on Busou Shinki body:

Little Dal on 21/23cm obitsu body:

- Although the proportions are right, her face is to squished so it doesn't quite work. Her neck also looks "too long." Pullip passes because her shape is a little longer.

I think the Dal on the Obitsu would look better if it was lower down on the neck.

Here is another idea for a hybrid head. There were some large LPS pets called "Deco Pets". This head was repainted but I imagine a more poseable body would be awesome.

You mean if someone got one and shoved it onto a male volks body?

(I've been meaning to post it when I had better pictures... That and photobucket is a turdy pants)

Lols the hybrid is very much Pullip proportioned so I'm not sure if people would like the size of it... Personally I think they're adorable but yeah...

Omg Jojo! I saw your photos on flickr and they were some of the ones that inspired me to make my Violet. <3
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
