Actually color-wise there have been a lot of varieties. About the only colors they've skimped on are aqua and lime. They did do one sort of lime/olive wig at the beginning but not since. They have also done cherry red, a couple of different copper wigs and a couple now of orange/orange red even but they do tend to use the same hair styles a lot which irks me. I don't like how choppy Liv wigs can be sometimes. I wish they were all long, sans bangs like the Moxie wigs...

I have noticed more brown and blonde wigs than pink ones in my country. As for wig styles, I don't really care. I'm dying to get my hands on long Liv wigs, though. I don't really like Moxie Teenz Tristen's wig. Her hair are kinda messy around the eyes (you know the short ones) and it's becoming a challenge to keep them all in one place. :(
Oh and there are new Liv dolls called Liv Brites. They are Target exclusive, though. The bodies are the same as Liv for color line (in other words they have only slightly articulated knees, the arms are solid, no elbow joints).

They have those in my local Target but they're $20 and I just don't see paying $20 for a mostly non-articulated Liv doll. Honestly I don't like the outfits much, just the wigs. If they ever go on clearance I might spring for the orange one but probably not otherwise. $20 can buy you a much better quality long wig elsewhere. Might as well go there for that price.

The make up on their heads is cool, especially Katie and Alexis and I like the shoes from what I can see of them but yeah Target is overcharging for these. $20 is too much just for a head, a wig, and possibly some shoes.

I went into Big Lots here today and I found a Sophie MD doll that had been totally wrecked in the box. It looked like it had been opened from the back for one earring. As far as I can tell that was all that was missing. They had closed it back up and marked it clearance $3 so guess who took it home? As it happened I needed an articulated body for an older FF Raquelle I've been painting the mouth up on all week and a Sophie is just the right color for that. One more Liv doll head in the storage bag.

I must have 25 extra Liv heads at this point plus at least 6 of all those dance dresses etc. What I am going to do with them all I don't know, maybe I'll auction them off or something one of these days, but that's all I do at this point with any ultra cheap articulated Liv dolls I find. $5 or less I buy them and use them to re-body other dolls, laugh. Last week I got 3 IMN Daniela's for a song and I used them to re-body some of my Barbie Basics girls. I already had one so now I have 4 of the same outfit including 4 pretty cool looking guitars.

One more guitar and the Liv dolls could start their own folk band... ;P

Stick lights in their heads and make a chandelier art thing out of them. Then you can charge a ridiculous amount of money for it.

That's not a bad idea, lol. A friend of mine said to ebay them all but I can't see anyone wanting 25 Liv heads. The bodies, yeah, but the heads? Nah, though I suppose the eyes might be worth something to someone?

I don't see there being much demand for just the heads, maybe in smaller lots they might sell but nobody is going to want 25 of them. Most people are either gonna leave Livs intact or use just the body (or do like I did and do a head trade with a Moxie Teen). I suppose maybe some people might possibly want to put a Liv head on a Fashionista body since the Fashionistas have a curvier body sculpt but it can't be a lot.

Yeah, 25 heads is a lot. :D I wish I could find some cheap Liv dolls around here. If I'm lucky I might find one at factory outlet store, though.

You could sell the heads as face up practice heads...Or paint 'em like zombie's glue some spare dolly hair on and tie them to a stick and make shrunken heads-*Shot*
