Was in one of the stores, they have outfit packs for the girls now also falling in the 2 for $20 category. The princes are nice, jointed elbows, shoulders, hips, click knees, no waist.

If you have your heart set on kitbashing one of the pale ones they have some sitting Princess dolls at Walmart. I was curious so I opened the bottom so I could look up the skirt (made sure nobody was around since it would look pervy) and lo and behold there were the jointed legs that should be on the Disney Store dolls. Unfortunately there is no elbow or wrist joints on the arm but the box says "Poseable" as if that is the new keyword with dolls these days. They had Belle in her peasant dress, mermaid Ariel, and Snow White and Cinderella in their regular outfits on the shelf.

I would opt for the ones with the elbows and wrists, they have click knees which aren't that bad. Posable arms have always won out for me. I have half a feeling they're seeing how well these sell to bring out a super jointed batch by Xmas. My local store was out of Frog Princess, I got the last one, but had plenty of Snow White, the store I went to yesterday had Belle and Beast out its ears so it's half worth going to several. Then they put out a Beast at Target with a nicer prince head sculpt, not that the jointed one is bad. Rapunzel stuff is showing up at the store too.

One thing I do know is when one batch of stuff is gone from the store it's gone. Some years ago when they had ballet princesses in pointe shoes you got a free outfit with each doll. I had enough for three, and opted for fur trimmed ice skating dresses and long gowns, went back a few days later for the fourth and they were gone along with that batch of dolls.

Oh I definitely prefer elbows and wrists with click knees over static arms and jointed legs but if it could be made so a doll has both then that would be sweet.
