Summer 2011 doll news

If anyone gets a spare Spectra LMK, I'm in the market for one and don't have much time to search physical stores.

I will be keeping my eye on Amazon. Spectra and Abby have shown up being sold by an affiliate or something for a suspiciously high and very wrong price, when they come out regularly there's a chance they'll have it as they have the others. But they also have B&W Frankie from someone else. In general I've done well with their market place, found my space suit Doctor Who there and a few dolls I missed over the holidays. Prices are usually competitive, but know what you're looking at incase the search engine or seller doesn't. I bought a MH Maul fashion pack which will be sent out after the 1st.

Tomorrow I'll be visiting TRU so I'll see if we have anything new there. I'm not sure though, we usually get everything last being the small state we are.

But its worth a shot! Plus Walgreens has them for 12.99 so I'm going to see if I can get TRU to price match that :3

Yesterday I found a Spectra at TRU, but she didn't come home with me because she had a chip in her leg and I wasn't going to pay the TRU tax ( $5 more than everywhere else) for one like that. ::sigh::

I am really frustrated with some of the conditions I've seen these dolls in.

Yesterday in Wally World I saw Hyde missing his arm and his pet :\ Ghoulia had no arm and her glasses were MIA.

Worse part was they hadn't been opened or tampered with.

Wow, no kidding...? All the ones I've seen have been in great condition, I've gone to three different Wal*Marts to look through all the dolls and they all looked really good other than the odd mispainted eye.

I just bought the Clawd and Draculara set! All the ones WalMart had looked acceptable.The Draculauras all looked fine. There may have been a slight inconsistency in Clawd's eyes. I definitely saw some raggedness in the edges of his sideburns, so I picked the best of the bunch.
I'll be selling my Draculaura though, with all her accessories. I have one of the original Draculaura's already - I really just wanted Clawd (whom I am renaming Harry). I love that this line has so many unique guys (relative to other doll lines), but I wish they would stop putting them in sets with the girls! I might like a second Clawd to OOAK him into another character, but not enough to have to manage a second Draculaura.

Just because they don't look like they have been messed with doesn't mean they weren't. There are some sneaky people who are very good at opening stuff and making the packaging look unopened. All it proves is it probably wasn't a little kid at the store that took the parts. It might have even been someone in the factory.

Just because they don't look like they have been messed with doesn't mean they weren't. There are some sneaky people who are very good at opening stuff and making the packaging look unopened. All it proves is it probably wasn't a little kid at the store that took the parts. It might have even been someone in the factory.

You're probably right, it just disheartens me to think that people would do that. I don't see why they would take just little parts, it bothers me you know? -le shrug-

STILL NO SPECTRAS ANYWHERE. D: HOWEVER. I did see 2nd wave of everyone and OHMYGOD I want Cleo now, she's gorgeous, No more ugly gold tinsel that I could see, now it looks like its normal hair material but in teal? She was so pretty /drool. Clawdeen also got a makeover, she's extremely pretty too :3
