I bought my first MH doll today - Scarais series Catrine DeMew. My daughter has several MH dolls and many of our BJD group members collect them, but this is the first one I've wanted for myself. Although she may end up in Joy's room with the other MH dolls so she has company. ;)

Oooh! Congratulations!! :D

She's actually the one I've been waiting for, too! I only want '1' and she's just perfect to a 't,' I think--from her being a white kitty, to purple hair, to her artist hobby, being French, and even her name is just right!!!

I hope my local Wal-Mart gets one in soon!!! In the meantime, I'd LOVE to see photos!!!!! ^^

SHe's a Wal-Mart exclusive, and the Ebay prices are just $10 out of my ball park. As soon as it's there I'm going to pounce. I've decided I'll make it up when I sell a reroot.

I might look in to the ice crystals any way for Deadwood. And I have dance Deuce I've wanted to go sea serpent colors with.

I was just going to put a few coats of white over the insides of her eyes and redo the iris/pupils without wiping the factory eyelashes and brows.

And redo the lips in blue.

I hate hate HATE the radioactive-pink that they keep using for Monster girls' lips.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Yeah, I think we were at Walmart at just the right time! I'm also interested in the Jinafire Long, so when I go to the post office today I think I'll stop at the Walmart there and see what I can find. Oh, and while I'm jonesing to take her out and play with her, I'm hesitant to remove her from the box, too .... :geek:

I caved and bought a Catrine on Ebay. She finally dipped below my threshold for cost of doll, the stupid sales tax I have to pay in my area, transportation, and getting to stay the f**k away from our skanky local Wal-Marts this close to pay day. Along with what I'd have to pay to have someone else ship her any way. I'm not above trading a reroot for another one, I'd love to see her redone with long white hair.

If someone gets a werecat trio please let me know what Toralei's tail situation is. Mine came damaged (Mattel offered to replace her but didn't have any left) so I'd like a replacement body. Broken kitty would get some serious modding.

I am having problems keeping Catrine's tail in her body. It's not broken, it just seems to "sit" in the hole so it falls out. I might resort to putty.

My Jinafire's tail is the same way.

It throws off her balance when I try to get her to stand, too. (She can stand fine on her own without the tail attached.)
