Summer 2011 doll news

I am really frustrated with some of the conditions I've seen these dolls in.

Yesterday in Wally World I saw Hyde missing his arm and his pet :\ Ghoulia had no arm and her glasses were MIA.

Worse part was they hadn't been opened or tampered with.

Just because they don't look like they have been messed with doesn't mean they weren't. There are some sneaky people who are very good at opening stuff and making the packaging look unopened. All it proves is it probably wasn't a little kid at the store that took the parts. It might have even been someone in the factory.

You're probably right, it just disheartens me to think that people would do that. I don't see why they would take just little parts, it bothers me you know? -le shrug-

STILL NO SPECTRAS ANYWHERE. D: HOWEVER. I did see 2nd wave of everyone and OHMYGOD I want Cleo now, she's gorgeous, No more ugly gold tinsel that I could see, now it looks like its normal hair material but in teal? She was so pretty /drool. Clawdeen also got a makeover, she's extremely pretty too :3

School's Out Cleo DOES have tinsel, just not as much. And there is teal, yes. I'll take a picture of mine when I get the chance.

The one I saw didn't have any, I guess that's just the infamous Monster High variations again, :\ maybe I'll go back and see if I can get her, since she didn't have any. I didn't like the tinsel, it seemed, eh, tacky? I guess.

Probably is. :/ Like how my new Draculaura from the two-set has a crapload of pink her hair. Although that one apparently has more in general, mine seems to have a LOT compared to my other two.

Not complaining, though. I love the pink. <3

Why would people take little parts? Maybe their doll was missing them?

One of the Draculauras I saw, was missing an arm, but within further inspection I spotted it in the box. Rattling around. There are A LOT of variations between each doll though. A lot.

Teal? Well crap. Guess who's coming to dinner at my house then. Blue hair obsession strikes again. I really want to get Abbey & Spectra first because....well...because. There hasn't been much of anything new around here. The big box stores are just now starting to get all of the stuff that was released in January on the shelves.

School's Out Cleo is at my Wal*Mart and she's the only Cleo I like so far, I want her bad >>

As for tampering, yesterday I saw a little kid at the Wal*Mart I work at taking a Littlest Petshop penguin out of the packaging and I'm 99% sure she stole it Associates can't stop shoplifters, all they can do is tell their manager if they see it happen.

I learned at Toys R Us that people will steal crap and damage things just because they can. And my years at the library have only reinforced that.

Haven't been to my W-M toy section in a couple of weeks, so I don't know if we have anything new or not. A nearby 'Mart produced (squee!) Clawd and Draculaura. I splurged, yeah.
Not sure why they altered her eyes and eyebrows, but she is still cute.Her parasol and purse are adorable! And Clawd is gorgeous. His hands are a triumph of Mattel sculpting- I really wish they were jointed at the wrist like the girls'. I would buy a batch of them from Mattel customer service and go on a hand replacement spree. Love his face, and hope he'll appear again in the line since he's become 'Laura's crush.
No Spectras, but next time I'm back there I'll check again.

I noticed WalMart and TRU's sites do not have Spectra on it anymore. It's odd...

I'm going to to Toys R Us today so I'll do a quick scan of what they have there MH wise.

Hopefully they'll have Moxie Teen clothes too, Vivianne needs pantzz.
