Are you sure you don't want to keep two Monsters?
:laughs: I'm kind of peculiar in that for each series/show, I only want 'one' favorite. Unless we're HUGE fans of the show, when we collect every character, my sister and I just get our '1' favorite. (Though we do still have a singular favorite chara anyway, even when we make/collect all the charas)
In MH, hers is Abbey Bominable, who she likes because of the character.
I liked Spectra because of her colors and that her outfit was nice.
Then, Catrine appeared and I liked her being a white cat, French, artistic and purple. (Though I must admit I prefer a royal purple to lavender.)
So, it's either her or Spectra, but I don't want both. (Since I'm not a big, big fan of the series. We just want our 'one each' that we identify best with.)

If it's just about white Monsters with pinky-purple hair those are the only two, and without any boys you should be able to keep the population under control.
It sort of is----I'd only want one who has the 'purple' image color and an elegant looking outfit. Spectra fit that and I liked her but I never really loved the doll's face. I thought the cheeks were too angular.
But I lived with it.
Then Catrine appeared and I was like, 'oooh, maybe I'll get her then and sell my Spectra!'
When I bought her yesterday, I liked her, but didn't 'love' her. I thought her face was a bit too chubby and her eyes were rather cast. (Spectra's is too....I think most of the MH dolls have cast eyes.....I remember the Cleo I originally had for doll outfit commissions also had cast eyes....)
Anyway, all night I couldn't decide! I thought, if I sleep on it, in the morning, I'd have a fresh perspective.
Still didn't.
I liked Catrine, but didn't love her. (Too chubby cheeked, cast eyes, light light lavender hair)
I liked Spectra, but didn't love her. (Too angular face, cast eyes)
I thought Catrine was a teeny, weeny, pinch prettier than Spectra, but those cheeks! They were really putting me off.....Spectra was too angular, but at least she had a slim face....
What to do....what to do....
In the end, I decided to 'customize' Catrine and so I slimmed her cheeks to how I prefer, and then also redid her eyes. Still monster style, but coyly looking out the side (I love side glancing dolls) and definitely not 'cast.'
So....here she is and I think it's made me tip the scales in her favor:
As of now, I'm going with Catrine and will be selling my 1st edition Spectra..... ^^;;
