Found a Howleen so as soon as she and Nefera get in I can measure and do samples for the new pattern book. I think I'll keep the original bargain price one and go for a deluxe version for all four body sizes. ~prays they don't make yet another body type~

Now I need a compelling argument for my hubs that it's okay to re-root Cleo. She desperately needs it. Her tinsel is disgusting and her hair is a greasy mess and it's only because it's now winter that the glue isn't seeping out >:/ (He doesn't believe the glue problem these dolls face.)

Good news I found a place to pre-order the Scaris, bad news they aren't scheduled to get them until January or February and they want $35 each for what should be a $20 doll, and there's no news on if you pay now or then. No news on at the other place I order from yet and instead of a carton full I'd rather brave the stores for the only one I really want. Of course it's the skeleton.

Those pre-sales bother me in that I fear it's all a scam. I'd rather just wait out the holidays then try the stores for Scaris (Jinafire and Catrina miiiinnneee!!!)

I was going to just give Cleo new black hair and better gold highlights. I wonder if anywhere sells the kind of tinsel they use in Abbey's hair, that stuff seems to hold up much better than what they use for Cleo. I was thinking of getting some gold hair and then mixing that "Abbey tinsel" in it.

I'd like a Catrina too but skeleton more. I'm hoping that I've paid online prices and passed up dolls on the shelf enough to get some luck in return. Found Gil and Cupid that way last year.

The three places I've pre ordered through basically run it as a first come first serve sign up list and don't charge you a dime until the product comes in and they prep it to ship. That's the proper way to do it. If they sell out a pre order, they can estimate how many they'll receive, then they'll stop taking them.

As I couldn't find any info on the one place when they charged I didn't go with them.

Considering we're still getting in mixes of Skull Shores and School's Out dolls at one store, I don't foresee us getting Catrine or the Scaris dolls anytime soon. I really hope they don't do them on Black Friday, I hate it. I hate big crowds. I don't even like going to the stores around 3 in the evenings 'cause of the crowds. I might for Catrine and Jenafire, though.

Oh, catshem, if you liked the way our Cleo's highlights turned out, I can find the color code of the embroidery floss we used for you, if you want. The floss is holding up really well for us and is easy to put back in place (Both the gold and teal like to hide in her black). Though, if you can find Abbey tinsel, that would look really pretty. I have no idea what it is or where to get it though. Maybe try some of the Monster forums?

In other news, I finally got Lagoona! She's the Skull Shores version, and I'm so happy! I love that her body is iridescent like Nefera. Some of her lashes are smudged and her freckles were way too dark, so she'll be getting some touch ups and I really need to remember to put some batteries on charge for when the weather cooperates, like today. Need updated pics and a group shot. Lagoona makes 9 plus 2 doubles.

Next on the list before she's gone: Clawdeen to complete the core group. Probably gonna try for the Coffin Bean play set. I love her hair.

My local Walgreens has the Roller Maze ones in stock now... I saw Operetta, Ghoulia, and Lagoona...... but I didn't really like any of them so I didn't buy them.
