You can get better resolution, if you use smaller Legos, but it will take more of them... :geek:

They've had stuff here starting in June with full Xmas sections at the two major department stores already and Xmas craft stuff out too. After August wrapping paper is out too

I've been looking all over the place for a violin for my YO-SD, but all I've found are MSD and American Girl violins, and some 1/12th scale dollhouse ones. I just can't seem to find a 1/6 or YO-SD scaled one anywhere, except for a pink barbie electric-looking violin that she doesn't want. Maybe I'll just buy the 1/12 one for my hujoo baby instead, but my YO-SD is the one who wants to play the violin... Wah!

I tried to make one myself out of clay and I'll let you know, it went hilariously.

:) Hi. http://www.firebirdarts.com/catalog/-c-228_583_588.html has some mini violins. Perhaps your YO-SD may find something they like there.

Hahaha!~

We have this 5ft tall santa on display at the Costco I work in, and as I was walking back to my office, a customer says to me (as we're walking passed the Santa) "Lookit Santa, he's stoned! He don't know it's only August!"

Oh boy. The irritation I have with the stores shoving Christmas stuff out so early. I saw stuff out in July for "Christmas in July :D :D :D ". So, Christmas in July, then "real" Christmas is from mid-August to late December, then they do after Christmas sales keep the Christmas music playing into mid-January. That only gives us, what? Half a year with no Christmas stuff? This is why people get cranky about it being over-commercialized.
There's nothing wrong with picking up presents for people earlier in the year. I totally suggest it if you find something suitable, that why you don't have to rush all at once. But I don't like the PUSH to buy.

Most shops have a section for seasonal stuff so once Xmas is over and the sales have cleared out all the unsold stuff they fill it with Easter stuff, then Xmas in July, then Halloween, then Xmas over and over again.
