Wow. I just found Belle being resold for $239.99.

Wow... looks like if I don't try to jump on them soon I might never get them due to the resale price. >_<

I know it is possible to add lashes to a doll but I wonder if there is any way to repaint a playline Disney doll have a similar expression. While the outfits are pretty it is really the vintage-esque faces that do it for me and since I'll probably never be able to afford the real thing that would be the next best thing.

Has anyone been lucky enough to purchase any of the dolls? I would love to see actual photos instead of just stock photos.

You're not alone on this. I knew about them but I'm unable to get my hands on one. :( While I understand the business model behind the whole "Limited Edition" thing... it still really sucks when you can't get it fast enough :(

One day I WILL own a Belle doll that meets my expectations.*determination*

Yeah, I'm never a fan of LE things, even though, as you said, I understand the business side of it. On the other hand, I had already planned to make my own Ariel, somehow...

Ariel is my absolute fave princess, and now she is insane-priced.

LEs are so not my thing. I wish everything was standard sometimes, haha.

I am so excited for Oct 18!!! I've been waiting since they started coming out for Aurora!
She's been my favorite princess always, and I've been collecting all her various types of dolls from all around the world, so I must get her at least!

I'm going to try for the 5 remaining Princesses and hope I can actually get them (or at least Aurora!) unlike what happened with the Snow White fiasco!

But....I'm surprised Disney released already the time they'd be selling the dolls online. Isn't it just the same thing then as before? People now have a whole week to prepare for the time to buy and they'll all be gobbled up again by speculators, right? I thought they'd tell us on Oct 17, so it's just 1 day in advance and not much time to prepare. (Sort of like what eBay does when it's going to be 'free listing day'---they just tell you 1 day in advance so you can't prepare a million items for the day.) Go figure? Maybe the '1 per customer' thing will be the thing that helps?

When they started out, I considered getting all 10, but that'd be $600 and I have no space for them all, so.....I figured I'd just get Aurora for now. WOW! I never imagined that these 11" dolls (regular doll bodies and all!) would be so popular and sold out immediately! Now if you want all 10, it'd be like $2500 - $3500! They'll probably re-release 2nd editions next year or something due to the popularity, but just in case they don't, I have to try for Aurora and Rapunzel (my sis' favorite) this time round.

Wish us luck! ^.~
