Good luck to those trying to get some of the remaining princesses! Be sure to post pics if you succeed. :D

It's really nice to know there are people other than me who love a or all of the Disney princesses so much.

I have a confirmation email from Disney this morning saying I have both Aurora and Pocahontas, but I won't believe it til I have them in my hands from what I've been reading online about the online sales in the recent past. Aurora is my favorite princess, probably because she's the first Disney I really remember seeing in the theaters. (Yeah, I am that old!) And I just really liked the look of Pocahontas and find the real person to be an interesting character. She was also modeled on a local girl.

Oh! You are so lucky!! I tried from 12PM EST until 1:45 PM EST and Disneystore.com kept CRASHING and having 'we'll be back soon' screens! When I FINALLY was able to log in, all were sold out! I was so disappointed! I've been wanting Aurora (my favorite as well) since I found out about these! It was really horrible!! I've never had such a terrible time trying to buy something! I intended to buy all 5 left, but ended up with none of them!! :cries:

So then, I was going to buy Aurora on eBay but then I realized that I never liked her pink dress anyway and even if I got one, I was going to remake her in a purple (like in KH) version of the gown. So since I was going to make her dress, I might as well just recreate the entire doll instead and save all that money!

Anyway, kenaiqueen-san! Please do post photos of your beauties once you get them!!!!!

:hugs:

I will definitly post pics when/if they arrive! If you do decide to go the ebay route, hold off for a bit. I read on Facebook that the scalpers on ebay are not getting the $$ they thought they would and are lowering prices. You could indeed get one for a better price in the future.

I'm sorry to hear you guys have been having trouble getting the dolls. I just bought the cards with the art on them. Getting the dolls seemed too lofty a goal for me, and to be honest, I like the drawings better than the dolls.

My sister and I just finished our 'custom' Designer Aurora doll!!

I NEVER like Aurora in hot pink anyway (I try to change all my dolls to either purple or blue), so I suppose after all, I'm glad of the chance to make her as I like her best----in purples, just like the Kingdom Hearts version! Plus, I used the 25% discount coupon they gave to disappointed customers on the remaining 5 'Singing' Princess dolls I needed to complete my set of them! So it all worked out for the best! ^^

I am SUPER pleased with her turnout and last week, bought her a musical revolving base that plays 'Once Upon a Dream' from the 'Musical Majesty' doll on eBay. When it arrives, she'll be complete! YAY!

Anyway, here are her photos without the musical base. My sister is so amazing with outfits! I love this doll so much!!!! I'm actually glad now I wasn't able to get the official doll---I would've been too scared to change her outfit, though I really would've wanted to!! :laughs: Luckily, they used the same head molds as their playline dolls, so I just removed her original faceup, copied the designer version style faceup instead, and added the long, real eyelashes on her.

Hope you like her, too!!
