Since the majority I played with as a child were Superstar mold I got tired of it as well. I didn't want to not use them at all though so I got them dresses and made them minor characters. They're sisters (because they look so much alike), and princesses, but not the 12 dancing princesses; they do have a 13th sister, a baby, not shown.
I'll try to take and post pictures of more of my Barbies later this week.
Your medieval / fantasy collection is lovely! I never set out to collect dolls, so have never focused on specific dolls. I see a doll that 'grabs' me and, if possible, she gets added to my growing 'family'.
I have some of the Superstar mold barbies and yes, they are also sisters (A 'foam n colour' Barbie -yellow & a 'moving groovin' Barbie). I also have a 'Barbie n Tanner' Barbie, but I bought her secondhand and tanner wasn't with her
and a 'cali girl so excellent earings' barbie . I think they are also a superstar mold, but my first two I mentioned really look like sisters. The others not so much. That's why I'm not sure if they are the SS mold.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing more of your dolls. The 'sisters' are cute
Love the hairstyles!
Many say that adults shouldn't play with dolls... then let me be a child at heart forever more!
