Disney Store- Elsa x Hans Anna x Kristoff Rapunzel x Eugene

Whee!!!!! Kristoff's Fashionista Muscle body arrived yesterday (FINALLY!) and so I managed to finish modding him and then take the whole 'Frozen/Tangled' gang outside for a photo shoot!
I was too sick and lazy to dig out my 1/6 Maximus Mattel horse and 1/6 Sven the Reindeer plush (stupidly, I buried them in my 'Disney Princess friends Toy Chest' behind a million Sleeping Beauty doll boxes) so we just used my sister's too large (about 1/4 scale?) plush versions. :shrugs: I tried to put them in the background so you couldn't tell how out of scale they are to the dolls, but I figured it's better to have some representation of them in the scene than nothing at all. (Next time, I've gotta remember to take photos first and THEN put the 'friends' away in the toy chest! :laughs: )
Anyway, last week, I started experimenting on modding the Disney Store prince heads to fit on Mattel Fashionista bodies that are MUCH better suited to them in terms of look. It worked out really great for my (previously hideous) Prince Phillip doll, so I quickly set about to make Hans, Eugene and Kristoff likewise as pretty. ^^
For Eugene, I never liked his factory faceup---so bland and vague, so I wiped it, blushed him and put on a side glancing (I love side glancers---they have so much personality AND they look at their 'girl') expression that is much more in keeping with his movie look, plus repainted his hair with some iridescent dark brown paint so that he'd match the Hans/Kristoff hair styling colors. It really works well for them, so I wanted to emulate it a bit. My sister is thrilled with him now and once we put him on a Fashionista body, he really looked wonderful!!!! I rerooted Rapunzel to have her short brunette hairdo (then Disney Store released a short brunette version last year I could've saved my poor rooting fingers! These heads are so hard!) and retouched her eyes and lashes to look more like her. I am wavering on giving all 12 of my Disney Princess dolls rooted eyelashes, but then I thought that might make them look a bit strange/designer rather than very accurate, so....for now, I just painted on lashes. We sewed her mauve princess gown and for now, Eugene is in his wedding suit. Hopefully, my sister will make him his plum suit he's currently sporting (as seen in their "Frozen" cameo) but this will do for awhile. ^^
For Hans, he was absolutely perfect straight from the box, but I did blush him a bit, give him a few eyelashes, a few delicate freckles (he had some but not quite enough) and some under eye liner so that he'd match his movie faceup just a teeny bit more. If I didn't do these things, you'd never really notice---he is THAT perfect a doll as is, but I'm a sucker for perfection, so....
I made him a crown, sewed him a pair of white gloves (he NEVER goes without them!) and modded his head to go on a Fashionista Ken body. It's the jointed arms/wrist type but I'm wanting the jointed knee type for him (he's my favorite!) so I ordered one of those and when it arrives, I'll transplant his head to that fully jointed body.
Elsa, I repainted her entire face, made it more like the film, particularly from the Ice Palace scene and redid her gown. I'm very pleased with them! I love them!
For Kristoff, again, his face was already perfect to the movie, so I just blushed him a little, and modded his neck. He's on the muscle Fashionista body and I'm glad it ends up just a teeny bit taller than Hans and Eugene. (Kristoff ought to be a LOT taller, but heck, on 1/6 dolls, I'm happy for even just 1/2" taller!) My sis made his 'prince' outfit---it's not really 'prince' but as formal as he's going to get! :laughs:
Anna has a complete faceup redo, full blushing and all, restyled her hair to be Coronation Day updo and added ribbons, the bodice design to front and back and painted her necklace to be black ribboned.
Now, onto the photos! I hope you like them as much I do! I'm really happy with their turnout!!!
