Wasn't planning on getting any mansters, but I did, darn disposable income season, and then as I was clearing my work table to actually sew on it, I refound one of my husband's discards. And he says MINE!!!

Anyone know any good tutorials that might help me give the little guy a new arm? The peg is snapped completely off. >_<

What a perfect monster pet!
For the peg, is it snapped out with the peg still jammed Inside the socket? If so, I've got no idea how to fix it (I have a figure where that happened and I'm stil trying to coax the peg out). But if that isn't the case, maybe super-glue?

Drill out the old peg location. Drill out the arm where the peg was supposed to be. Get a brass rod of the correct diameter for the peg and hole, glue the new peg into the arm and pop it back on!

What a great pet for him. He looks like he loves it.

Just be sure to have your pet spayed or neutered! Those in particular can be a real nuisance if they breed, from what I've heard. ;)

We've already made an appointment at the vet. My research indicates they are nightmares during breeding season. ^.^;

Thank you, Zirconmermaid! He came from a lot of Alien/Predator toys so the original arm we never had, I was thinking i might be able to make a new one, just couldn't wrap my brain around a fix for the broken peg, since it's part of the torso. I'll have to make sure no one's peeking at the patio when I get the dremel out.

Apoxie Sculpt or Milliput should work for a making a new part.

Oo, I'll check those out next shopping trip, I know I can get the Milliput locally. And I'll put an update here once I've got it done. I've got yukata for a Gil doll on the table to get done first.

I didn't use a peg, but I still drilled out the torso so the prosthetic would have a good place to grab. Click for more pics!!

I'm a terrible sculptor, but at least I got an awesome paint match. ^.^
