So i had started out thinking I was going to use this for the fabric.

But I changed my mind when i was making the first mockup,

(first mock-up)

and went with a plain navy blue broadcloth.

His obi just a piece of 5/8" ribbon cut to the right length.

Nicely done! The lines look really crisp. I've always struggled to find fabric thin enough to not bulk up a smaller doll.

I'm no yukata expert, but it looks good on him. I can see why you wanted to use the dragon print fabric, though! What are you using to keep it flat, it looks like magnets?

Good job! I always have a horrible time with kimonos.

^.^ Thank you. I had to redraft 4 times and make 2 mock-ups before I got it right.

Anderson, yes, it's magnets, the black cutting mat behind the fabric is magnet attracting. The ruler is magnetic too.

I had to sit and think a bit, because i've had that navy remnant for awhile. It's 100% cotton that i picked up at jo-ann's. I remember it being pricey, but i'm not sure if it was just the sheer yardage (something like 5-6 yards) or the price per yard that made it so.
