What body could I use?

So I found my old Li Shang doll (I dont know what year he is bit he came in a double pack with a Mulan) in a clearout at my mums and I figured I like his face and the hair (I took his bun out when I was a child :P) enough to keep him, but I need a body with more articulation (currently only his knees have joints his arms are stuck in the robotic almost 90 degrees style). My first instinct would be an Obitsu, but I think the neck would be way to thick. It does say Mattel on his back so I assume he could go on a Ken body? I'd much prefer double jointed movement if possible. I have a 92(?) Ken I'd want a similar thing for too if he does fit what I want to use him for.

Check out the Ken Help post, I'm going to guess with that neck any of the non Cpt Jack bodies will work.

So pretty much Mattel guys can only fit Mattel bodies?

If he has a joint at his chin like your guy does he can swap with most Mattel bodies, I'm pretty sure all three blonds are head swaps. I know the guy in the black necklace came on a stiff body.

You have to watch with the collector and celebrity dolls, if the neck is very long like Cpt Jack's it won't look right. Disney store princes are too big.

I put my Shang head on a Traid Evo body. I restyled his hair, give him a haircut and a small face up.

If he has a normal Ken neck, he can be adapted to a 1990s' GI Joe body. They came in different colors. I have a few examples in THIS THREAD.
