Last Christmas (2015), my wonderful sister surprised me with a custom set of the king & queen dolls from Frozen! She made their clothing, styled her hair/sculpted his hair and even made a 'custom box' for them! I only had to give them faceups! (She wiped their faces, so they came with 'blank faces' which is just what I love so I can paint them myself!) I finished their faceups at the end of December and I'm finally just getting around to posting their photos!

I love them and appreciate all the hard work and effort she put into making them super detailed and gorgeous!!! Thank you, imouto-chan!!! ('little sister' in Japanese)

Really beautiful, but I'm ashamed to admit I had no idea they actually had first names O.O I don't remember them ever being mentioned in the film.

Thank you so much, maywong-san, Jobee-san and Greyhaunt-sama!! :) I'm so glad you like them!!! My sister really did a wonderful job on them!

Grey-sama, their names weren't actually mentioned in the film but were written on their tombstones as 'Agdar' and 'Idun'. (In the ancient rune characters.)

Now, some of the kiddie books write them as 'Agnarr' and 'Iduna' but I'm sticking to the tombstone translations, which are actual Scandinavian names. (Iduna is obviously a 'cutesy' version redone for children/girls to like better than 'Idun' and I don't know why they went with 'Agnarr' rather than "Agdar". Why, right?) But the books are not really 'canon' or correct (in fact, a lot of errors are in the books, like wrong eye colors, horse colors, etc) so they aren't 'set in stone' (ha ha! Like the 'Agdar' and 'Idun' are!) Oh, that was a terrible pun....

I see dead dollies.....

Seriously though, you and your sister did a fantastic job.

Paranthetically, the "Angel Barbies" always struck me as being really creepy, because in order to become an angel Barbie had to die!

Not necessarily - God created angels prior to humans, so I suppose He could have created "Angel Barbie"! I'm just not sure why he would. LOL
