Soft sculpture "Barbie" and "Ken"?

Has anyone had any experience with an all cloth doll that could fit in with general 1/6 scale crowd? Especially if it could share clothes with them. Just cloth or plushie dolls, already have knit and crochet, changing scale from a larger doll isn't a problem.

I'm looking for an option for my latest doll idea that I can make with what I have at hand. My pattern making attempts for this haven't quite worked out.

Years and years ago there was a whole book dedicated to making Barbie and Ken-sized dolls and it had detailed patterns and also period clothes that would fit either the cloth dolls or the purchased Barbie and Ken dolls. It's "The Doll Book" by Estelle Astley Worrell, and I've used the patterns often myself.

Also patterns for dolls similar to the size of (vintage) Skipper, and even smaller/younger dolls (about mid-range between Skipper and Chelsea).

Thanks, I have the Worrell book and the dolls come out a bit thicker than I want, otherwise it's a fabulous book especially for the clothes. I've got Sirkis Wish books and a Godey doll book too.

It's like the difference between a Yo-SD ball joint and fashion doll and I'm looking more towards fashion doll shape. The Etsy pattern looks close.

Found a free tutorial I'm going to try but that Etsy pattern will be on my wish list.
