Disney's Mulan Entire Fa Family 1/6 Dolls

The entire Fa (Hua) family from “Mulan” in 1/6 scale (11″) doll form! We recently made these on commission and I absolutely LOVE how Granny came out especially!!!! She’s my favorite!!! I also love Matchmaker Mulan---her ‘white’ makeup and uncertain face was really fun to do and I loved making her gown more accurate style and colors. Fa Zhou (Dad) and Fa Li (Mom) were also incredible to make! I was so pleased and honored to have the opportunity to bring these wonderful characters to doll form! We also made all Mulan’s outfits from the film, too. Hope you like them!!! (What do you all think of Granny?! Isn’t she soooo cute!!!?!?!?

Eseme-san, yes, I sculpted Granny, Dad and Mom for this set. Previously, I had also sculpted a Shan Yu (the villain) for the same customer, too, who is collecting the entire set of characters from each of his fav Disney movies!

I never really attempted 'human' face sculpting in its entirety until these commissions. So far, I've sculpted these 4 and the Emperor from Mulan plus Dr Facilier (Princess & the Frog), Clayton (Tarzan), Witch Whittler (Brave), and Frollo (Hunchback of Notre Dame), Beast happy and Beast angry (Beauty & the Beast), Sorcerer (The Sorcerer's Apprentice), Robin Hood & Maid Marian (Disney's Robin Hood), Taran (Black Cauldron), Ichabod Crane and Bram Bones (Legend of Sleepy Hollow), Pecos Bill, and next up will be Tui, Sina and Gramma Tala from Moana.
I'm so glad this customer (now good friend, too!) started me on new characters that need sculpted heads so I had to try!

I then was a little ambitious and made three 1/3 guys---Hans, Kristoff and Eugene for ourselves! I'm so glad I did----I love my Hans so much!!!

Oh SetsunaKou, you will do Moana? WONDERFUL. I cannot wait to see them. I loved that movie so much, really one of my Disney favorites.

I cannot imagine how hard the task of the beautiful tattoos will be. Gramma Tala has a lovely one.
